Each of my lazy susans is an individually hand-painted piece of art. I use the same brilliantly-colored acrylic paints that I use to paint my canvases, but in addition, I finish each piece with five layers of durable and protective semi-gloss polyurethane. Each lazy susan is a generously sized 16 inches. Fun fact: I have collaborated in the making of these lazy susans with another artist (a creator of wooden children's toys) for years! We both work meticulously on each piece because we are doing what we each love: he cuts the white birch, which my lazy susans are made from, for me and beautifully prepares the surface before I set about painting each my pop art design that I hope brings joy to tabletops around the country. I hand sign the backs of each lazy susan.
